Jim Clemens and I are pleased to announce the publication of A Field of Voices: Hymns for Worship, a collection of 30 hymns we've written over the last several years. We've had opportunities to present the book at the Laurelville Music and Worship Leaders Weekend and at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries, and we're looking forward to more chances to hear these songs as folks sing them.

Poems

A beautifully designed and edited new magazine about place, Ecotone, included my poem, "Inerrancy," in Vol 2.1, Dec. 2006.

Forthcoming poems in Mennonite Life, Princeton Theological Review, Geez Magazine, Collage, and Hobble Creek Review.

Last Year
"Bach and the Mandolin Boys Meet Herr Goldberg then Proceed to Philadelphia" and "Plague of ladybugs, plague of the suburbs" appeared in the most recent online issue of kaleidowhirl.

Musical Collaborations

Composer Jim Clemens and I have had several choral pieces published.
recently."Draw Up the Water from the Well" is still available from Alliance Music, and now "Set Your Troubled Hearts at Rest," "The Kingdom," and "Go, My Friends, in Grace" are either out (or soon will be) from World Library. Other pieces will appear this year from Kjos, from Choristers Guild, and from Treble Clef Press.

Our hymn, "Jesus, Offered Up as Bread" was included in the Mennonite hymnal supplement, Sing the Journey, and a handful of others (all from A Field of Voices) are scheduled to appear in the next supplement, Sing the Story (due out in Summer 2007).

A Mennonite publication, The Leader, also featured an article (page 1; page 2) on our musical collaborations in the Summer 2005 issue.
